CLIENT FAQ

Does Goliath Disaster Restoration work with my insurance company?

Goliath Disaster Restoration’s team of experienced professionals will work with your insurance carrier throughout the entire restoration process. Your assigned project manager will coordinate with your adjuster to meet for an initial site visit in order to assess the loss. They will provide all necessary estimates, get material selections approved, provide documentation, negotiate payment, and provide job progress updates. We work with all insurance carriers and are preferred vendors for several major carriers.

How long does a typical restoration project take to complete?

Every loss is unique. When dealing with water damage, the drying process typically takes 3 days, but that can vary depending on the situation. We use the latest technology and drying methods when drying out a property and our goal is to get you back to normal as quickly as possible without risking secondary damage. Goliath Disaster Restoration will assign you project manager and a team of technicians that will work with you every step of the way throughout the drying process. Your assigned project manager and estimator will work diligently with your insurance carrier to help the process move as quickly as possible. Because our mitigation and rebuild technicians are all in house, we will work around your schedule to provide you the best service without interrupting your busy life.

How much does a typical restoration project cost?

There are many factors that determine the cost of a project. The type of damage, the extent of the damage, and the type of materials affected, and insurance coverage all play a factor in pricing. Every project requires a different course of action. Goliath Disaster Restoration will work with your insurance company and your budget to make repairs to your property. Your assigned estimator will keep you informed on any updated costs and fees throughout the project. Goliath Disaster Restoration always provides free inspections and estimates.

Am I able to stay in my home or operate my business during the restoration process?

At Goliath Disaster Restoration the safety of you and your loved ones is always our top priority. We will assess every loss along with your insurance company. Certain types of losses such as a major fire or a sewage backup can make it more difficult to stay in the property. Based on the necessary scope of work and your needs, temporary relocation may be the best course of action. We always encourage our clients to consult with their primary physician if they have any health concerns related to their loss.

What type of chemicals are used in the restoration process?

Goliath Disaster Restoration has commitment to your safety and the environment. We only use EPA and industry approved chemicals as part of the restoration process. We typically only use “green” products as part of the restoration process. If your project should require harsher chemicals, Goliath Disaster Restoration will provide you with Material Safety Data Sheets in order to keep you informed of any potential risks associated with chemicals used in your home or business.
